Farooq Ahmed Jam (PhD) (Executive Director)

With diverse qualification and experience backed and a PhD  in Management Mr. Jam is a renowned civil society representative and management scholar. Having served as academic and corporate research professional for more than 10 years he devoted his energies for promotion and development of basic human rights. He is an active voice of equality, justice, fairness, participation and excellence in all spheres of society.

He has thorough capabilities in General Management, Organizational Training and Development, Managing Change, developing, and implementing strategies for institutional capacity building, human resource development. He has been engaged in several national and international campaigns for poverty alleviation, up gradation of rural areas, rehabilitation activities, internet freedom, freedom of expression, and global issues of governance. His scholarly work has been appreciated and published in world re-known journals. He is an active blog writer for promoting global peace and harmony.

His vision as a director Global Illuminators is to provide a quality research platform for civil society organizations across the globe which can be used to strengthen the global initiatives to preserve and promote basic human rights of equality, justice, participation and access to knowledge. He is eager to join hands with civil society institutions and to help them achieve their goals through a quality research support by Global Illuminators.

He is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Tariq Iqbal Khan (PhD) (Director Global Operations)

With a law background, a PhD Degree and as a Human Resource Professional Mr. Khan has earned a commendable repute across the global civil society organizations. Having served as the corporate Human Resource professional and Lawyer for more than 12 years, his list of contributions towards development of society and humanity is long enough to hold the responsibility of Global Director at Global Illuminators.

He has thorough capabilities in General Management, Human Resource management, Industrial relations, Administration, Labor laws related matters and other areas of organisational development with  particular interest lies in designing, developing, and implementing training programs, policies and procedures aimed at enhancing the capability of human resources to contribute to organizational growth and human development.

He has been engaged in several national and international initiatives for poverty alleviation, up gradation of rural areas, rehabilitation activities for effected people in affected areas as well as he owns a great repute as a research and training consultant for different civil society and corporate institutions. His scholarly work has been appreciated and published in world re-known journals.

His vision as a director Global Illuminators is to link the world through a communication hub, led by civil society organizations. Where everyone strives for equality, justice, harmony and peace across the globe. He is utilizing his potential to strengthen the civil society organizations across the globe through research and development.

Muhammad Abbas (PhD)(Director Policy & Research)

Muhammad Abbas is a seasoned trainer and an experienced researcher who provides trainings and consultancy services to national and international organizations. Abbas has worked assisting public, private, and non-government organizations with their research projects and capacity building initiatives. He also has published his research papers in world renowned journals and presented at leading scholarly conferences across the world.

Abbas is an experienced academician, a PhD , and a gold medalist business graduate who has thorough expertise in the fields of social science research, human resource management, social psychology and decision making.

Abbas has been engaged in several activities of institutional development, capacity building and R&D for civil society organizations.  As a policy and research director at Global Illuminators he is engaged in different tasks related to strategy and research as well as trainings.

On Chee Hoong (Wilson) (Assistant Manager  Training & Development)

Wilson is shining graduate of TARUC. He has worked with different corporate and social sector organizations in capacity of trainings and development consultancy management. Majority of his assignments were related to development of human capital and capacity building. His responsibilities at Global Illuminators revolve around providing training and development support to civil society organization and conducting workshops and conferences across the globe for human capacity building.

Chong Hui Ling (Felicia) (Country Director Malaysia)

A Renowned lady for her work towards knowledge promotion andmalaysia skill development of academia and civil society in the country. Felicia is currently working on her PhD in Islamic banking and finance; she has a handful of knowledge and experience in education sector development and research with civil society institutions in Malaysia. Her down-to-earth and humble personality with friendly, loving, caring, helpful attitude makes her fit as a social activist and human rights ambassador.
Her skills and capabilities in Finance and academic research, linkage with reputed academic institutions and civil society in Malaysia are her core strengths. She is an expert in corporate and multinational finance, mathematics and statistics, corporate social responsibility, Islamic banking and finance and asset and liability management. As a country director (Malaysia) she is eager to extend a research and training support for Malaysian civil society as well as institutions. Her vision is to leverage on the pool of resources and expertise within Global Illuminators’ platform to support the Malaysian civil society is very much aligned with the vision of GI. As the country’s ambassador for GI she will be responsible for all research and development activities conducted in Malaysia.

Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih Country Director (Indonesia)

Ms-Hendrati- flag-indonesiaMrs. Hendrati is a PhD Scholar and academician by profession and has demonstrated a deep understanding of her research area about social innovation and social entrepreneurship that exemplify her worthiness. With excellent time management skills, she made sure to deliver her work in time. She has been working as lecturer in private university since 2008 , soft skill trainer and as social worker and volunteer expert in several Islamic social enterprises and NGO in Indonesia and International ( since 1995). Ms. Hendrati has shown great commitment and strong interest to her studies as well as her research project. She has explored the necessary theoretical frameworks, and also put great emphasis on practical context. With this approach, she delivered a remarkable piece of research. She has already written two books, multiple papers that are published in international journal and proceeding books as the first author and also as co-author. She also attended and organised several international conferences around the world to present her research. She is dealing with all strategic and operational tasks for Global Illuminators in Indonesia.

Ahmed SaddamCountry Director Iraq (PhD)

His research interests include trade, foreign direct investment FDI, human development, transport economics and environmental studies. He has published more than 20 research articles in various refereed journals and a well known speaker  in international  and  local conferences.  He has several books on his credit. As a country director (Iraq), Ahmed is ambitious to help the academia and civil society through his sound research expertise and knowledge.

Mohammad Hamad Khalef AlKhresheh  (PhD)(Country Director Jordan)

He has worked for public and private organisations in different countries. He is currently holding the position of assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics at the Department of English Language, Faculty of Arts, Isra University. He has a good number of papers published in international journals. Some of his research papers have been published in different books. He is accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment where accuracy and attention to detail are indispensable. He always aims to go above and beyond his set duties to ensure the best systems are in place to allow the organisation to function as efficiently as possible. His vision as a director Global Illuminators is to provide various research and development activities for Jordanian   civil society and several organizations throughout Jordan. Providing such activities  can highly help in preserving peace, justice and human rights in the country.

Kalaivani Vivehananthan (PhD)(Country Director Sri Lanka)

SrilaaaDr.K.Vivehananthan is a Ph.D Scholar in Molecular Biology and Head of the Department of Biotechnology in Wayamba University of Sri Lanka with more than 20 years experience in the Academic career.  She is interested in research and she  apply her research area of Molecular Biology to address National and Global issues specially on biodegradative bacteria for wastewater treatment and bioremediation, Biosynthesis of nanoparticles for wastewater treatment, Quarantine pest detection, Development of commercial DNA extraction kit, Drug development for antibiotic resistance bacteria etc. She has been awarded research fellowships and scholarships for trainings in the field of Molecular biology and Genetic engineering locally and internationally. She has also received an International award for her best research presentation at an International Conference of Global Illuminators. She is very much interested to commercialize her research outputs to reach to the public. She has more interested in multidisciplinary aspects through which she wishes to disseminate her knowledge to fulfill the society needs nationally and globally. As her ambitious is aligned with the vision of the Global Illuminators, being Country Director Sri Lanka is a stepping stone to move forward towards Research and development in future.
